Not directly related to AMAT, but a tech issue. "Hard Drives to Get Cheaper, Denser" As if Storage is to become more expensive and less dense?!?! It amazes me how people are puzzled that the price of DRAM, MIPS, storage etc. are decreasing! They have always decreased, maybe not at the rate we have seen DRAM prices drop in the past few months, but nonetheless, they have and will continue to drop. Just goes to show how little many people really understand technology.

GM, BB, et al..... think that there is still a great deal of tax selling in AMAT... remember 200M + shares traded above 100 (split adj 50)... In fact I took a loss on the 500 shares I had bought back at 40 earlier today even though I was dollar cost averaged below 30, to help earase some of the 25-100 gain I took in the summer. Remember volume has been extremely light so this selling will have an exagerated effect.... I agree with BB targets, in fact they are conservative, and expect new highs by hte summer.
