Finding all kinds of interesting info concerning AUGI. Here is a post from Yahoo finance message boards under UFEM (I was just surfing through some posts). UFEM came public at $10 with the underwriter Hampshire Securities (same N.Y. firm that Connectsoft IPO is associated with). UFEM's range in price since it's IPO was a high of $36 per share and the low of about $1 per share(approx current price now). Interesting reference to another stock involved with AUGI, ERDI stock (bankrupcy proceedings)coming public with Hampshire Securities also. I looked up the prices of the stocks mentioned with Hampshire Securities and most are at the lower end of their recent trading range. PIPE has filed for Chapter 11 on Dec 16, 1997. Hampshire Securities appears to have a bad track record with taking companies public. I haven't verified that Hampshire Securities was involved with all these mentioned companies (UFEM for sure was). But I suspect the person posting has done his research. However, Hampshire Securities may have underwritten some successful companies also that weren't mentioned. Need to do more DD research on the subject to find out the answers. <- Previous Next -> Message 43 of 45 Reply Subj: UFEM underwriter By: mjpgilgo Date: Dec 23 1997 11:04 A.M PST Reply To: Msg. 42 by firstinvestor For all those considering legal action -- How does UFEM relate to BLRK, CLRT, IGTI, OCAL, RELEF, ICNI, NSTR, PIPE & ERDI ? Ans.-- All of these stellar performers were ipo's, at one time or another, of a group of individuals who currently reside at Hampshire Securities in NYC. The bulk of their ipo's studiously implode of their own emptiness. As Warren Buffett has said " The stock market in the short term is a voting machine, in the long term a weighing machine." Caveat Emptor!!! Now where the hell is the SEC?????
