Yes, Tom, that was my benchmark for choosing software--whether or not it was copy-protected. Copy protection was a major pain in the neck! "Managing Your Money" removed its copy protection smewhere around version 4.0. That's when I bought it and quit pirating it. I am now up to version 10.0. One of its best features is the ability to chart stocks.

In the olden days, "Managing Your Money" was clear and away the the winner in financial software, as proclaimed by the computer rags. I don't know if "Managing your Money" is still around. It's been a long time since I got snail mail from Andrew Tobias.

BTW, way back when, I chose WordPerfect over Microsoft Word, the biggest reason being WordPerfect was not copy-protected and Word was. An incidental finding was that WordPerfect was and is the superior wordprocessing software. If WordPerfect can't do it, it isn't worth doing.
