Maybe I missed it somewhere, but are any of you involved in the class action lawsuit? What exactly can the shareholders get, if the case is won?

Uh??? Can someone explain to me why anyone believes he's got to hold
on to a dog stock? The last times I've gotten out and in of ASND
via DATEK:

12/22/97 09:32:42 Sold 100 ASND 27 $2689.92
12/29/97 12:55:10 Bought 100 ASND 23 7/8 $-2397.49

OK, I've got the same amount of the same dog, but I'm $300 happier
(except, I bought those previous 100 @29 ;-)...

OK, a pathetic trade but so what? I'm just puzzeled about the amount
of people who can't get out of a stock just because they'd lose money
on doing so. Isn't it better to get out on a peak than to follow the
stock down to the bottom again, or is there something amazingly
fundamental that I have misunderstood???

BTW - I also disagree with the first statement above - I believe ASND
will surprise us soon...

Ove

<This has go to be one of the worst run companies in America. unfortunately I own so much of it I can't afford to sell it.>

Tell me more about it, Finder. We're all in the wrong f**king sinking boat, "Ascend-Titanic". A rumor was dead, future outlook is unclear, management is full of sh*t. Only thing I'm waiting now is the "life-saver Miracle", the next earing report. HOPEFULLY they come up with a good number. Base on Value line date 12/26, ASND estimated range of 3-5 yrs average prices 40-65 with timeliness 4 and rank of safety 4.

Good luck and (sorry for my words, I couldn't hold it today)

Duke

<<Well as usual when the market flies, Ascend is down again.
This has got to be one of the worst run companies in America. unfortunately I own so
much of it I can't afford to sell it.>>

So, let me see if I understand - ASND being and staying down (for now)
means the company is run poorly? And when they were up the company
was great? Gee, I never knew that! I guess a lot of techs are run
poorly lately.
