ED: As I think you know, my comparison to U.S. states data (in my FAQ) was just an attempt to grasp something about possible future earnings. I think everyone is very aware that there are seemingly a million variables and factors not taken into account. But it is information that many of us have been talking about behind the scenes, so I thought I'd put it out there as a highly aggressive forecast. Noram put the U.S. state information into the press release, so I tried to make something of it. Everyone here is waiting for the first signs of revenue information so we can play with the numbers some more. We see some excitement in the near future, but it's a long term developing situation.

We've discussed the "corruption" issue at length on SI and BOBz and most of us have gained some comfort, but it might be a nagging issue we'll have to face with every new investor. I think this has been a great concern of Noram, Sharp and LYMCA, and all those involved having been developing a collection system to assure all is well. This is just the feeling I've gotten as this has developed.

So again, many here are waiting. In my case, I'm starting my 5th month of buying on a weekly basis. I guess that if the stock does not start a small move up soon, I might get a little concerned, but I really don't expect big moves until earnings reports show positive results. Maybe May '98?

Based on my understanding, Noram has to pay for the slots they purchased. They might need to use funds from Q1 to do this. I don't know (maybe Jeff has something on this). The financing for the slots has not been spelled out yet.

I really expect good news after Jan 2nd or so when the market is back and ready to accept this information.

I find comfort in the fact that Noram is operating under signed contracts. This does not appear to be a bunch of hype. George has been cautious and conservative in his public statements.

Anyway, thought I'd chime in. Been away all weekend and was happy to see such activity here this afternoon.

Good luck to all.

dave

Ed, you're right and when you call George he will...

Talk your ear off about these two pet projects of his...
NorAm's trade exhibit in the Las Vegas trade show in October featured these items and a great deal of interest was generated...I just think that these two items have taken a "news" back seat to the VLT's in V-land...where the VLT's are going to generate the most revenues over the short term...I do expect to hear more in the near future about these projects but any info you can glean from George or Jeff would be of interest to everyone here, I'm sure...

Also, in the first conference call, George alluded to an acquisition in LV which has to do with the Valprel bingo eqpt. You might want to inquire about this also...Good luck ED, you really know how to dig...

Ed here is what i can tell you about the Vaprel Line and the AutoCaller 2000. George would be the best one to ask after 30+ years in the bingo buisness.

Vaprel is the worlds leading manufacturer of 90 number bingo equipment .The process of developing the 75 number bingo system for sale in the United States is complete.
The Autocaller 2000 is also complete and ready for production. The "Winner Take$ All" software is in its final stages of development and should be ready in early 1998 . All products are expected to be complete and ready to roll at the Bingo Convention in March. Load em up and move em out.
NorAm is currently talking with intrested parties from the Las Vegas show and have some exciting prospects.

As mentioned by NorAm they will be focusing on clients who are intrested in a revenue share rather then a sale . Noram is open to Sale/Revenue share/ Lease but is much more intrested in placement. I have personally seen the equipment and watched it work . This game will be an easy sale as it is both fun and fast at the same time . The game is intended to attract a more active crowd , unlike the standard bingo games being played now . The software has the ability to play more then one game , and will be set up in blocks of sixty terminals . In some cases due to space at hand we might set up smaller blocks of machines .The touch screen function of these machines works extremely well and reliable. Give george a Call and he will be able to tell you
more of the details on this equipment and in its progress

The marketing package is currently going through its rigor's
