Yes, one of the further left pundits said that Clinton was the best Republican president we'd ever had. Also, Mr. Rubin engineered that end run around Congress (Currency Stabilization Fund) ostensibly to rescue Mexico, but in the opinion of many it was to rescue his buddies at Goldman, Sachs who had bonds coming due in few months. So much for the political scene. Bottom line is that both parties are beholden to the special interests who support them and their parties, and that the benefit to the average person is marginal no matter who is in power. I personally think we need a third party. Do you think we should start a third party thread and see what's out there besides libertarians and Mr. Perot? (Apologies, TB, for somewhat off topic post.
