>> why the stock has fallen from $2 since the latest positive earnings

Hi Steve, I can suggest a couple of reasons:

- end-of-year selling
- while Q3 earnings were again positive, they were lower than Q1 and Q2
- some are concerned about MSS getting away from profitable operations (i.e. professional services) and back into the business of selling software (the cause of losses in previous year)
- the situation in Japan.

Personally, I'm not concerned about MSS getting into the business of selling software again. That's where the really big money is and XML is going to be hot. I'm confident also that MSS' previous experience will minimize chances for expensive mistakes.

I'm interested in your comment about CGI Group taking an interest in MSS - how would you see MSS fitting into CGI's strategic direction? I had thought that a WP software vendor, or a software vendor with a stated thrust into e-commerce (e.g. IBM, MSFT, Netscape) might be interested in MSS' technology - wouldn't that do a little something for the stock!
