Thanks for your response Richard. I mentioned CGI not because I think that there's a fit there, rather, they're simply a high profile professional services company out there at present which may have an interest in a company which could be bought for only a fraction over book value. I mentioned Calian due to the familiarity its chairman has with MSS' operations, himself a former CEO of MSS.

I agree with you that a move by MSFT/IBM etc would have a great impact on the stock. I didn't actively follow MSS at the time, but I beleive the stock ran up to around $5 in 94/95 after an announcement regarding Corel. If COS can have that kind of an impact, someone like NSCP could do wonders. XML seems to look pretty good, but I wonder the impact that MSS can have on the market with its ultra-low profile.

With regards to your comments on Japan, I doubt that MSS is large enough to have caught the Asian flu. Are a significant portion of revenues derived from the Far East?

The stock picked up nicely today on low volume.
