Robert,
re:>>status of the new 6x86MX System<<

Your results sound great. a few questions
What type of SDRAM are you using? One or 2 dimms?
I'm also considering the diamond viper 330 for my system, what features prompted you to purchase the viper versus other video cards? How is your 3d game performance?
Finally, was the system unstable at 2.9V when overclocked? what heatsink are you using to run at 3.2V?

TIA
steve h

Robert, the typical OEM is not likely to overclock any CPU nor will the typical end user. My Intel P133 chips typically worked 150MHz and my PII 266 does clock at 75x4. But that don't meant nothin' when it comes to pricing stocks.

In short, P7 chips are cheap and PIIs are still dear. And until you own a PII (as I do) you should not judge. A PII/266 clocked at 75MHz takes out the best of CYRX and I still own 1K+ NSM/CYRX shares.

Luv u big but I wish you guys would quit fighting on the old turf. S7 won't mean much until it can beat PII/300 marks. Tom et al is old stuff. Waiting for next year,

The GXi(m) will be the new battleground.
