I worded it poorly, that was not what I had in my mind's eye. First of all I should've said in this country, not the world -lol. What I was thinking of were the positions Bernie has taken and the people, especially the millennial's that understand the validity of those issues. But mostly I had in my mind's eye the millennial's. This country has serious issues and it seems as clear as a bell to me that the Bernie supporters and especially the millennial's are understanding and addressing those issues better than any other group in this country. Hands down. So what is that called? I I would call it being smart.

I was connecting Bernie's campaign mostly to the millennial's and the fact that they are in college and studying modern theories on how people should construct a civilized society. Then they looked at what has been going on for the last four decades and want to change it. They thought they were going to get that with Obama. Thomas Frank who just wrote the book listen liberals points that out with great clarity. In fact Thomas Frank is saying exactly what the Bernie supporters are saying. And most people consider him to be pretty smart on the subject. There are greater and lesser degrees of sophistication with regard to social science and social structure. I was simply recognizing the group of people I feel are getting the issues right.

The kids and deep liberals are saying this has to change. And they're putting their money where their mouth is i.e. he has raised far more money from small donations than anyone else. That means that Bernie supporters are sacrificing what little they have to help change our society more than anyone else's in the society. I call that being smart and very honorable.

We are 65th in the world in income inequality and half our country is living near the poverty level and getting an education seems only for the rich these days. We have gone three decades now, including two Democratic presidents and we are not addressing those issues. The Bernie supporters see those issues as something that needs to be addressed now. I think they're dead right.

I'm not sure why you think it's egotistical? The people that are supporting the Bernie campaign are doing it for the most sophisticated reasons in my opinion i.e. the issues, to catch up with the rest of the Western democracies. One has to ask how did we get so far behind without anybody raising those questions with any seriousness? All through this campaign Hillary has moved to Bernie's positions, Bernie has not moved to Hillary's positions. Why?

Humor is a way one can see the truth in the above statement. A few weeks ago Saturday Night Live had a skit that showed Hillary metamorphosing into Bernie because she pretty much moved to the left and embraced virtually everyone of his positions.

The Bernie people are looking at the facts and they are addressing them squarely. We do live in a plutocratic oligarchy. Everyone knows that. Hillary never addresses that in any serious manner. It is not okay to live in a plutocratic oligarchy, the millennial's and many of the deep left liberals understand that cold. If one is in a sociology class and one understands that and the other one doesn't what grade do they get?

The Bernie rebels are arguably the smartest people on the face of the earth

The Bernie rebels want a social safety net like EU, Canada, Oz, and Israel. Seems to me the people Bernie wants to emulate are smarter then the rebels.
