Well, no one really wants unregulated laissez-faire capitalism. Then all we'll have left is the top 1%. But a well-regulated capitalism that keeps the government out of making decisions, but keeps them in on leveling the playing field, minimizing fraud, strengthening and policing property rights, and maintaining dollar-price stability. That's what we need government for.

But what's gone wrong is that we have a government that refuses to execute the laws on the books and put bankers in jail for their crimes. We have regulatory bodies that are captured and refuse to hold industries and companies accountable. We have a Federal Reserve engaging in central economic planning no different than the worst of the Communist countries. And we have a completely corrupt Congress that refuses to do their job to balance the budget and engage in fiscal policies that are pro-growth and anti-debt. Lastly, we have a government that is increasingly socialistic and dictatorial.

In short, we have the worst of all worlds. We are our own worst enemy, economically, fiscally, and monetarily. This is not capitalism. It is crony-fraud warfare against the 99%. Our government has failed us and the vultures are taking advantage of their dereliction of duty.
