Comment: The Principal is one of Iowa's largest employers with numerous pension offices in major cities across the state.
Principal Mutual is in the top 10 of the countries largest companies in terms of policies in force and assets under management.

Mine: And none of them practice short selling OTC stocks outside the USA. In my opinion they may, granted I have no proof that the do or don't!

Dan. I indeed may be wrong, but if so I don't understand this excerpt
from the press release announcing EVEREN"S aquisition of PRINCIPAL FINANCIAL SECURITIES.
"Principles Securities' well established presence in it's HOME state of TEXAS, for example, will provide us with an enviable position in one of the fastest growing State economies in the nation. (post 31336)
