I just posted that medicare is cheaper than private insurance.

So, substantiate your claim.

How is private insurance "better"

A private company pays its president, its board (congress), pays for collections (the IRS for payroll taxes) and all of that counts for overhead for the private company, but doesn't get counted for Medicare, and its not the only overhead that isn't counted (GSA, OPM, etc.)
