TLC, I think you and "Carlos-the Jackal" should discuss the option of not appearing in court.

From my Websters New Collegiate Dictionary (c)1973:

subpoena: a writ commanding a person designated in it to appear in court under a penalty for failure

person: an individual human being

I would argue that, as a chicken, you are not a person and, therefore, not subject to the pathetic laws by which humans allow themselves to be ruled.
