Skipper, that's a kind of cleaned up version of it, probably edited by those with a motive to erase the things they so easily erase and make all look so "nice". Well, it's a weird little country indeed that celebrates the "sowing of crops" in mid December. Lots of planting going on all over the world in the middle of December. I've noticed its a big two weeks for gardners. Best leave it at what you found in the Dictionary. It's much more pleasant than ancient reality.
