Tim, one interesting point to make is that, here in the Bay Area, starting salaries for food service positions are already well above the $10 (California) minimum wage. There is a coffee shop not too far from where I work that is looking to hire more people. They're advertising starting salaries of $14.25/hour. Only problem is that the cost of living here is so high, even $15/hour wouldn't be considered a "living wage" by the libtards here. Of course, that's the fault of Apple, Google, Intel, and other rich high-tech companies that the libtards pride themselves on attracting only to complain about how they drive up living costs.
