Read Replies (1) | Respond to of 217825 hello 2mar$, i noted his passing. observation, many people, including self and parents, had a shocking and too-long experience during the great proletariate ... cultural revolution, but the ones who did well through the event in general are not the instigators, apologists, victims, argumentative sorts, etc etc, etc but, the hardy, optimistic, and fall-down-get-up-again sort, in mind and body mr wu may be hardy up to a point, at least physically, but neither optimistic nor fall-down-get-up-again, and could not be happy under any circumstances wherever he finds himself. he was not happy with most around him, even those of more or less the same persuasion. he failed to see that the political turmoils are inevitable in various forms everywhere and only a question of timing / cycles a guess, more are coming up for the world, everywhere, whether people know it or not, given the divergent interests of those who make rules and those who are told to follow we shall soon enough find out what matters to 'making it through' and 'what happens when people are cornered' passing in bitterness is not the way to go, for when that happens, the other side won. in the mean time jack today is having a perfect dayJack fussed this morning re feeling tired and whatever. The minute he heard whisper in the faraway kitchen that school announced no-school day due to EXPECTED Red-flag rain, he bounced up, grinning, and said, "I am not tired anymore". Now, 3 hours later, we are still on standby for the red-flag rain while the sun shine pours forth. Perfect day for Jack. cheers tj
