S.

Theres a slow... slow train coming... coming round the bend!!
PentiumII..PentiumII..rah! rah! rah!

For end users, Pentium II is an inferior processor. Not only buggy, it is overheated and draw too much power from system. For winter, it is OK to warm up the home/office. In the coming summer, there would be lots of failure claims from overheat due to improper power supply and air flow circulation problems.

Wondering if Intel are ready to take responsibility to take care these claims? With choices of K6-233 and MX-PR200, it is unwise to buy a Pentium II 233 even it is priced less than $99.

It sucks to pay for a buggy and overheated Intel processor.

Stockman the pentium II is all Intel can throw at the GAPING F>>>ing WHOLE in their Product line. People buying want cheap upgradability. Stop kidding yourself you cartridge carrying nut. Intles Other offerings are MMX less and others are obsolete. Further useing Pentuim II to plug the gap at this point in time is done so at a price less then Intel can afford to sellit for and keep it's earnings high. Continuing to support and promote PentiumII at give away prices will cost Intel another $20.00 drop in stockprice. monvmtum is already lost and the wise guys have moved on. don't be suprised if the wise guys move into AMd before returning to Intel. And I can give you at least a half dozen reason why Intel won't make their earnings number for the second Qtr in a row... some stockholders Like you and Carl will ahng for a qtr. but when your margins calls are more frequent then a call form MOM You'll chnage your tune. The boxmakers is headed for chaios and the chip makers have no way to avaoid it or regain pricing control withut the competive preasures taking their toll. AMD may take it's toll but they won't be singing occapella in the chior.
