Don't you see that your Tesla buying proves that your theory is wrong that there's a rich-man's exploitative conspiracy to exploit the world? Come to think of it, you and Elon look a bit like the "rich men" exploiting the political system to get subsidies and a free ride. Not to mention Solyndra and all sorts.

I do find it funny that some oilmen think that FF's will last almost forever.

Almost a 400% increase in capex in oil production spending the last fifteen years just to maintain flat production in the world. Not good...

So shortsighted.

I have a neighbor who built his house almost twenty years ago to use absolutely no fossil fuels and as a result he has saved a lot of $$ over the years.

No grid required.

Runs virtually totally on solar. He and his wife were high school teachers.

He retired after teaching physics and chemistry for over 30 years.

He understands what will power the world cleanly and sustainably.

They are not rich.

Musk has brought down launch costs substantially.

Nobody else out there did.

Keep digging.

My neighbor and I don't have to.
