Food for thought,

Do companies buy big expensive servers to run Database applications ?
Is ORCL planning on a record year, is SYBS, IFMX ?(i know IFMX and SYBS have mgt probs)

DELL keeps talking about the record growth of their server business.
You will probably correct me on this one, but I think servers were only 1-2% 18 months ago. that makes it easy for huge % gains.

If ORCL does not sell as many databases, will their customers increase the number of servers they buy ?

Just another area for potential weekness.
