Elmer - Re: " If they said 2 months, that really means nobody knows."

You've put the wrong spin on this deal.

ALLOW ME!

The two month delay is an indication of STRONG DEMAND for the 266 MHz/0.25 micron processor. All the "BIGGIES" want these chips - Compaq, IBM, DEC, Acer - and AMD is allocating their production to these Tier 1 OEMS until they can get production increased to satisfy the CyberSmash and Pulaski Computer-type companies.

Repeat - the delay is due to STRONG demand.

Paul

Elmer,

Your name goes great with what you are trying to do. Create FUD. Fear Uncertainty and Doubt. Elmer Fud. These are all bogus and erroneous statements you are making. Forget about the 266. The Tier 1 manufacturers are already getting 266's. The more important introductions are the K6-300, K6-3D and K6-3D+.

Elmer Fud ..... Be Be be be Be Be Be Be .... What's up Dock?
