I have had the problem of the mouse not being recognized, and believe it or not, the above procedure was the solution! I'm not sure why this works but it may have something to do with battery powered circuitry in the motherboard that is somehow reset. I've had this problem with two different motherboards from different manufacturers(epox p55tv and asus p55t2p4, intel 82430vx and 82430hx chipsets respectively, both with award plug & play bios) Hope this helps. Craig, Did you replace the COM cable with the one accompanied with PA2005? Believe it or not, quite a few of them are not exchangeable with each othre. :) fast wide SCSI With a new SCSI drive too?
