If you have any multimedia keys on your keyboard they may not work after the upgrade. If its just a basic keyboard it won't be a problem.

If you were running a laptop then I would suggest you contact Dell and ask the if the computer is Windows `10 compatible.

Actually just call Dell and ask them if its Windows 10 compatible see what they say.

I have Win 10 on a laptop and a desktop. Both are working just fine now. I had some problems with networks a couple of months ago but the next release fixed it.

There is some learning curve because some things are different, but I eventually learned how to use W10.

I would go for it because W10 is the future and you might as well get it while it is free.

Blessings,

SOJ

As for Win7 vs Win10, I prefer Win7, but recommend taking advantage of the Win10 upgrade which many people like better.

You can have both by dual-booting. This can be done by using two drives or by having two partitions on the same drive for the separate operating systems.

If you upgrade though, be sure to make a drive image or clone of your Win7 first so you will be able to revert back to Win7 after the upgrade if needed. An image backup will also allow you to create a dual-boot in the future if you decide to do it.

Macrium Reflect Free is an top-quality program for drive imaging.

EasyBCD 2.3 is a software front-end for the Windows Bootloader not essential, but convenient.

(Edit : The main thing that has slowed me changing to W10 is reinstalling old software onto a clean install of W10.)
