Here is another SI thread that goes into REG.S stocks and other abuses. Like I said, there is an industry out there that looks for stocks that do discounted convertibles and shorts them.

I know that NTN's financing is not called a REG.S, but a REG.D, but the difference is semantics. The function is the same.

Maybe someone would like to go to that thread and ask some questions if they're convinced by NTN that the financing is a good thing.

Subject 15250

Hopefully someone will report back what they find out, even if it isn't what they were hoping.

D,

Because of the calander, I don't expect a January bounce to really begin until next week. I'd bet most traders took today off.

Also, too many people may be expecting the January effect. I still think beaten up issues will have their usual dead cat bounce after tax loss selling.

As to NTN, we're getting squeezed down by the 20 DMA, currently hovering about 1.125. Volume was very good the last 3 days, which I would suppose confirms this bottom. If we don't close above the 20 DMA by Mon close, things look REALLY bad. We have two key trading days here, technically, and 1.0 appears to be strong support.

Cheers,

Rich
