Hi John P, further discussion would risk straying from our value theme, however: (1) you might want to check out the discussion on the S&P/ gold index over on COBAF - I essentially disregard the nominal S&P nowadays and just focus on the S&P/ commodities indices. The euphoria on days like today is almost cute if you understand what is actually happening (2) although gold is probably still OK over the multidecade time horizon, its popularity worries me. I wonder if much of the ultimate MP2 is not already priced in. In any case I'd love to see 6-month consolidation. Hope to chat more over on COBAF, Graham
