Musya, thanks for your clarification and yes I, too, am concerned...

about corruption in Venezuela and the security of any venture there...
I do feel (IMO) that with the JV partners in this deal, LYMCA being the most important one in V-land, we are much better off than if we were attempting to go it alone...Hopefully, with LYMCA there, NorAm can have some assurance that these machines will not fall victim to a vandalism and pilfering plague...

A possible question for MBA is how often monies are removed from the machines and deposited??? Not keeping too much in any machine at one time will be a plus...Coke machines in the US have signs on them saying "Money Removed Daily" Speculatively, so it wouldn't be worth breaking into...There is actually no reason to keep money in the machines as the payoff comes from a cashier, not the machine...I do feel that there will be some overly excited players who just put their last Bolivar in a machine and was one symbol off from the $4000 jackpot and will proceed to take his dissappointment out on said innocent machine...

I take no offense from anything you've posted...sometimes when we write on the internet things don't come across exactly the way we desire...and need clarification...especially when it comes from a respected investor like yourself...Good Trading in '98
