Truff, I just posted that, it's before this message. Yes, Ron did say that and with a stright, dead serious face, to be exact. I always thought that Ron I., was the classiest of all the anchors that work for CNBC, of course I still do.

Don't shoot the messenger, it's those analyists the need special care. IOM won't make any money next year.........'cmon now.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. If IOM beats estimates by a $1 the stock will move up the next day about an 1/8. There is no respect for this company whatsoever. It's still viewed as a one trick pony.

Wall Street's present consensus is that everyone has a computer, will never
buy another one, all companies have database products and will keep them
forever and everything in the computer industry is doomed and the entire
world will soon be back to using an abacus. Earnings consensus for all
related industries are being lowered as the analysts cower.

Any more information on the CNBC statement? Is it true - not only that it was said, but is the statement factually true. Does someone have the number for IOM's IR?

Trufflette,

Ron Insana said IOM is gonna break even next year? I know the
guy likes to be a bear but this is going too far. Consider that
zip disks are selling in bulk packs and that they cost about
$10-12 each, but only a buck or so to manufacture, these things
are a dream come true for any tech company. I still don't see
enough computers being sold with an internal zip, but this year
will be do or die for zips becoming standard equipment. Look
how much money Rambus is expected to make off of royalties...the
whole company is nothing more than a royalty generating machine.
Yet, Wall Street loves Rambus.

I want IOM LEAPS!
