"Every poll showed he'd outperform Hillary against Trump,"
No poll included the effects of negative advertising, cuz Hillary wasn't running them, and R's wanted him to win. That dawg won't hunt.

In the only poll that mattered, Hillary beat Bernie by the almost 4 million Obama '08 voters who stayed home rather than support Bernie.

I'm not trying to be noble- not sure how you could get that from anything I've said. I'm a fan of Machiavelli, not nobility. And "every poll" was based on the fact that no shit had been thrown at Bernie, since the republicans have trained their fire power on Hillary since forever. The right was dying for little Bernie to run- since they'd crucify him as a commie. I'm not sure how you can avoid seeing that, but apparently you can. More power to you. I'm just glad it's not come to Bernie running as the dem.

Every poll showed he'd outperform Hillary against Trump, so please don't try to spin a noble face this.

Yeah, I will put a spin on it. Polls like that are meaningless. And they are completely suspect due to R interference. I am not a gungho Hillary supporter, although I did and do support her over Bernie. Bernie's numbers would have magically and precipitously dropped if he had actually been nominated.

I don't think that anything I've read so far indicates that the DNC had any actual influence over what happened in the primaries.
