If I thought my vote mattered, I'd rethink things. The best thing I can do with my vote is send the Republicans a message. Remember I live in perhaps the reddest state. If any Republicans needs my vote to carry TX they're gonna lose the other 49 states for sure. As for the fervent Trump supporters on SI, almost all of them live in blue states that Trump will never carry. So frankly their vote don't matter either. My vote will have more meaning sending a message to Republicans.
