Thanks for the info Ed. That means any Westellers waiting for 3 contracts better just look for only 1!

The 3rd contract in my opinion has to be GTE ILEC. So, are we screwed if only one more contract is in the offing?

Hal

p.s. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

ed--

well, then that does not bode well for the future. when we were told this during the summer, they were said to be substantial contracts. now they are telling us that two of them are the insubstantial BS we have had to contend with for too long.

ed, thanks for the post. i have now officially lost faith.

good luck to all,
trey

Ed: >> Only one of those 3 contracts remains undisclosed (Westell is still prevented by their partner from discussing it). <<

BT could be the third contract since Westell is partnering with Fujitsu. Fujitsu is providing systems integration of the Westell product into the BT network.

>> Although the email stated that this was already common knowledge among ADSL analysts, I thought it was still ambiguous precisely what the 3 contracts referred to. Now we know (2 of 3 that is). <<

The analysts speculate that BA's "40-million lines", GTE's "20 million lines" and 1/2 of BT's "20 million lines" belong to the Westell/DSC/LU/Fujistu type partnerships.

If you want, I will hurt down those URL's... until later.
