Seriously, one of my resolutions for 1998 is to be nicer to ANCR followers. You guys can still beat up on me. <g> I do have one thing I would like to take issue with though. You said that you didn't realize that posting leads on SI would be more useful for the competition. I contend that if ANCR has to hide potential business from their competitors they are in trouble. That means there isn't much business to go around. For ANCR to succeed there needs to be enough business around every corner so that ANCR and Brocade are calling each other up trying to discuss how to split up the business and what leftovers to give to Arxcel. <g> THEN you will know that you have found a winner. I think WDM and AON's will provide that kind of abundance for many companies in the coming years. (But not FIBR).

Craig-have to agree with you about helping out ANCR's competition. Did some work for a company that is just exploring different solutions for storage data transfer and were definately looking at FC. They were much more familiar with the competition then with ANCR.Gave them all the info they needed to talk to Ancor as well as what I perceived might be the advantages of the MKII.Even did a quick glimpse with them on the Ancor web page.I did note them mark the page. It's only one lead but you never know. Ed
