Don't worry, you are not preaching to the choir. If you want someone to sell over priced chit made over seas to people who value names rather than value, then he's your guy. If you want someone who knows how to milk the system to get government money for student loans then teach the suckers, er students, worthless BS at the lowest cost, then he's your guy. If you want someone who knows how to play the local political system to get through the permits and zoning changes to steal quality of life from neighbors by putting up larger buildings to sell for a huge profit, then he's your guy. If you want someone who knows how to create real value with a new product idea or manufacturing process to do something cheaper or better that ACTUALLY IMPROVES LIFE FOR EVERYONE, then he's NOT your guy. Sadly, neither is the first alternative.
