Buck, The year has zoomed by......My thanks to you. This is the best thread on SI....no doubt, no hype. And Identix will do this year, what we all thought it would do last year. The Commission lives. I see several things happening this year. I see at least two more additions to the Identix family. I see the large Ascom holdings being distributed to institutional buyers....most likely through a secondary offering. I see several hundred machines being placed across the country in Sylvan learning centers, giving IDX the dominant position in civilian fingerprinting....which will turn out to be high-margin and very profitable. I see several of IDX's so-called "competitors" bite the dust. I see Identix doing large numbers with the INS.....and new laws in California bringing in many sales on the west coast. I see one of the blue-birds being captured. I see Identix being a profitable company and a company that will out-perform the market in 1998. I see Rob being wrong at least a couple of times this year......but would not bet on it. I see also that our trip to Cabo when IDX is well over 30 may need to be pushed back from this Spring....to this fall. It is my understanding that the golf courses need the extra time to recover from the storms last Fall. And I see Nebraska winning by at least 30 points...... Best to all in 98. bg ps. My heart goes out to those of us who got sucked into taking Iowa because a close family member said "I have a good feeling about the Hawkeyes in this one".......
