"The CVIA Clearing House" (for questions and answers)

Perhaps we could adopt an easily understood generic title
as above to enter any/all questions each of us would like
answered by Jack Arnold/CVIA.

Then these questions could be easily located by all viewers
and hashed over by all thread members.

Redundant questioning would be eliminated, as well as those
we discover from each other that have already been answered.
We can update "The Clearing House" to contain what we view
as the current good questions remaining to be answered.

This could give us advantages I haven't seen on other threads.

1) Easy to scan and locate this important topic amongst
our several entries of conversation.

2) Easy for any viewers to quickly understand exactly
what to expect when they select the entries showing
"Clearing House" on the visible first line.

3) "Clearing House" entries might have a line on the bottom
inviting non SI members to Email one (or a few of us)
thread members with questions "they" would like answered.
We could enter theirs in the "clearing house" for
thread discussion and submission also.

4) As we all do our part to simplify the job of
identifying which questions remain unanswered
by scanning for this topic:

A) we will all be reminded of
some answers we forgot.

B) it will also help us think of
new questions to find answers for.

5) It will provide a tool to reduce "the dreaded -
boredom factor" that inflicts all threads one time
or several. There will be something extra to do,
and an added reward in visiting this site for the
quick indexing of questions and answers it offers.

Item #3 is an interesting one to me, because I can see
nonmembers submitting information as well as questions.
Some of this can be quite timely and useful for reasons
I need not mention especially because they have come
to the CVIA thread for a purpose. We might even get
people who are moving into the company

As well, some who have never registered may use this
as an opportunity to "try their wings" here, and find
how useful membership in The Silicon Investor can be.
In this light, I don't think The Silicon Investor
will have any objection to our "tinkering".
They might embrace the idea as it attracts new members.

I say "The more, the merrier."

Dave

Though "Clearing house" makes me think of "publishers",
maybe that's why these words come to my mind.
They might serve us better when used as above
instead of hoping to get money from "Ed".

Sorry! just had to get that dig in.)

Hello! VBH,

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! "1998"!!!!!!!!!!!

You asked my expectation level of CVIA from an investment perspective!

I wish I knew the answer to that question?

Right now! There are just too many possibilities for this .03+ cent stock to walk away from it!

As a minimum I will follow it through until at least I have a clearer indication of what directional pattern it is heading!

In my humble opinion! It appears to have made significant progress, in a very short period of time! And unless Jack drops the "ball" I see no reason why I should not hang around for a while!

I have no idea what I would consider a significant return on this investment! ( Although I am trying to set some personal profit goals for stocks ,for 1998!----In attempts to reduce some of the silly/greedy opportunities that I have missed out on the past, because I didn't have a clear guideline/ criteria when to sell an investment!)

I am trying/attempting to stay more focussed and action oriented for 1998 from an investment standpoint!

By this I mean that no matter how much I like a companies management, profile etc, I will attempt to stay away from getting married to a company! ( I have been side tracked in the past , and have clearly missed profitable opportunities, because I held on too long!).

Having said all this! I know of several friends, associates, contacts, etc, that have all had the "BIG WIN/PAY DAY STOCK SCENARIO!"

I on the other hand have not experienced a "BRE-X, FUTURE SHOP etc,"

In all cases of the big win it appears that "PATIENCE" was always one of the major factors in the successful outcome!

And in some cases it was the people that were buying the stock at .03 to .07 cents! When everyone else was laughing at them for accumulating such large volumes of an apparent worthless stock!

The other clear component, was that these "Big Winners" all had some major losses and set backs, before having the big pay day!

The one and only area that has continued to give me an on going glimmer of hope in the CVIA Saga, is the fact that after every director of CVIA jumped ship and bailed out of the company, there stood one individual with just "sheer raw guts and determination!" to carry on after every one else left him holding the bag! And we all know him to be Jack Arnold!

After that it is basically all speculation and guess work on our parts as CVIA Shareholders! Because I think at this point, that Jack Arnold probably can't tell us any more than we already know or anticipate!

If the end result turns out to be a "shafting of the CVIA Shareholders" then most likely it will mean that Jack Arnold will also have been " tricked, manouvered or manipulated!"

And I say this only because,I think it would be naieve and foolish on any one's part to believe that CVIA is dealing from a position of strength!

I think , that aside from our hopeful optomism, each of us knows/feels that if this current round of merger discussions doesn't pan out than the "Party is over!".

And I have a sense/feeling that the merger candidates are quite aware of this, and are milking it for all it's worth in the discussions/negotiations! ( Just my own opinion!).

The current share price of CVIA, has turned into a "toy , play thing" for the M.M's ( in my opinion!) trading volumes at low prices , keeping our anxiety levels at a stressed out level on an ongoing basis!
( And yes I imagine that it's working!)

Every time it happens it scares the " living daylight's out of me!".

And if you want to know how I personally respond? I buy more CVIA Shares! ( But I have made an agreement with myself that I am 100% prepared to lose the "whole works" on CVIA! ).

Other than the hope that Jack Arnold is doing his upmost in representing the interest's of the CVIA Shareholders!

I also cling to another statement that Jack Arnold made in a public news release! And that is he is also a buyer of CVIA Shares in the .40 cent range, and has also the interests of his close friends and associates who have also made some significant investments in CVIA

So the pressure for Jack Arnold to perform is obviously overwhelming!

And in my opinion and in my own personal experiences, there is no greater pressure that one can put on him or herself than to try to turn a negative scenario into a positive one! Especially when the eyes of close friends and associates are counting on you to perform!

So Yes! I think that Jack Arnold is doing everything in his power to maximize the value of the CVIA Shares within the framework that he has to operate in the merger process!

So! VBH! Since you were "Just wondering" there you have it!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.
