Just to get this in before the finale airs in a 1/2 hour: I've heard the cat theory before. Naz's mom said, "An animal did this." Other than the cat and Naz himself, there are really only 3 plausible suspects: The father in-law (too obvious), Duane Reade (what motive?), and Mr. Day, whose motive would be that he's an obnoxious old creep. I think it's Day, but who knows? I'm sure you recognized the detective as Saul's brother on Better Call Saul. I'm sure you also know the Turturro role was originally written for James Gandolfini, but he had a scheduling conflict. I agree that the prosecutor is great. Was she also the prosecutor on Dexter, the one that Ramon dispatched? I'm not sure. Her battle last week with the pathologist on the stand was great TV.
