Never mind the editorials—today's NYT page-1 layout was the most obviously biased in the entire time I've read the paper (which is a long time). They buried the Mexico-press-conference photo on an inner page. (Even the Boston Globe had this photo on page 1.)

Trump has NEVER painted the WHOLE of the Mexican Nation as a nation of rapists, drug smugglers etc..., about which this pea-brained "editor(?)" is trying to convince his readers. Trump has stated, that because of the atrocious state of the current American immigration policy, and the virtually non-existing border barrier, there have been many criminal elements of the Mexican nation that have taken advantage of that poor barrier and have entered America illegally. " But instead of chastising Mr. Trump, Mr. Peña Nieto treated him like a visiting head of state at a news conference" But WHY, for eff's sake, was there ANY NEED for Mr. Nieto to chastise Mr. Trump ??? He had absolutely no effing reason to do that. Donald Trump came to Mexico, and stated on a public platform, that he had GREAT RESPECT for Mr. Nieto and also for the LAW ABIDING and HARD WORKING Mexican people. Another stupid, biased, inane comment from someone with the highly undeserved title of "editor(?)" !! " ... shedding his decorum by the time he got to Phoenix." More unadulterated, myopic crap !! Donald Trump stated, QUITE CLEARLY, on the public platform in Mexico, that both parties had "strong" comments to make, but that was the nature of the problem and in those situations leaders have to speak in strong language. BUT, as he stated, they can still do so respecting the other party's standpoint. As for the rest of that vacuous idiot's comments, I don't believe they are worthy of any further interrogation and scrutiny ... in fact I wouldn't expect my 5 year old grandson, who is able to do some basic reading, to waste any of his time on that puerile garbage. One has to wonder how the likes of the NYT can justify paying that nincompoop a salary .. but there again, he's probably one of those sycophantic types who religiously "toes the paper's (and the party's) line" !!!
