I see the most common cause of microencephaly is "certain infections". I can't see how infectious duseases have yet been eliminated from the list of possible contributing causes, especially now that Zika is shown to preferentially infect fetal brain celks.

But it could still well be that your excess use of pyriproxyfen in the UK is the real cause of the Zika problems in Brazil and in Miami. As you kmow, when ever there is a problem in the world, the British are almost always to blame.
