I didn't mean to stir up such controversy with this Roth thing. It's so new that some of the information coming out is conflicting as different analysts summarize its features. Here's a link to an excellent article in the Washington Post:

Income eligibility is $95,000 for singles - phases out at $110,000.
For joint filers, $150,000 - phases out at $160,000.

Geese! I didn't know that I'd start such an avalanche of discussion re. tax regulations. You're laws seem so complicated. I thought ours where complicated.
