GPS challenged me on my comments about political power-seeking women with whom I disagree. He has a good point as I agree that they aren't like men. But I'm not sure how to express it.

Your comments are not how I'd put it but it's something like that. <
Hillary's penis envy is much more dangerous than any pathology Trump may exhibit.

She displays her penis envy through rash machismo: " we came, we saw, he died." And so did thousands more who did not need to die, including an Ambassador whose death she hypocritically and falsely blamed on a movie.

She's deeply pathological. Everything she touches, she screws up. A political Typhoid Mary with an itchy trigger.

I thought in terms of the battle of the sexes. There's also a broad shift in the geopolitical world from alpha male territorial genocidal dominance hierarchies as human life has been since chimpoid times a couple of hundred thousand years ago until the last hundred years or so when the world has been shifting towards more like a village way of life with women running them.

45 years ago, my mother, who was an actual feminist before the wet behind the ears 'feminists' were born, pointed out to me that one could tell when the status of occupations was falling because women move into them. Doctors, bank tellers, teachers, lawyers, were all declining in status and increasing in women's participation. There is also a big shift in politics with women moving in en masse. Silly Hillary Clinton talks in terms of a glass ceiling when in fact the ceiling has gone and real men have abandoned politics as being a women's activity. Even if there was a glass ceiling, she's not breaking it because she's only there because she rode in on Bill's slipstream. Maggie Thatcher decades ago was more like a glass ceiling breaker though even there, the likes of Ted Heath, John Major and co were girly guys and politics had moved on. Maggie did have to deal with the atavistic Argentinian alpha males and called on the real men of the British military to do the job.

But there's something a bit scary about the F-bomber Nuland, Jarrett, Clinton, Power, Rice types who seem to be intrinsically angry. Men perhaps better know to NOT get into fights as they know intuitively how horrific it will be. Women though intuitively are unworried as it won't be them who get into the carnage and they will just mate with the victors - women intuitively seek out the alpha male types so are perhaps happy enough to see some conflict, even enjoying it and inciting it, without quite appreciating that 20 megaton explosions could come to pass quite quickly and that would not be a nice little male-only battlefield conflict.

Women do the cheer-leader job "Rah rah rah, go you Guys. I want a great big tough one when we see which gang wins". The men do the wet work and end up paralyzed, wounded, demoralized or, if they are lucky, successfully victorious with prolific mating rights as their reward.

Maybe it's penis envy with Hillary. That seems a bit too psychoanalytical for my liking. I don't know quite what her motivations are, but it's something unnerving. Her reset button looked remarkably like a launch button. There is a gender difference that will make a big difference.

Another interesting gender difference is that mitochondria are derived from a very wide geography whereas the y chromosome is very narrowly derived [by comparison]. That's because primate females like to hop the fence to get a better genetic endowment for their descendants whereas males defend their tribal territory in genocidal male on male gang warfare. That causes perpetual tension along Romeo and Juliet lines. Nature isn't gentle and uses such drives and tension to power evolutionary forces.

An interesting effect of that is that the non-African y chromosome is from a male about 30,000 years ago while the non-African mitochondria is from a woman about 90,000 years ago. Males died out in genocidal droves whereas females did not.

So perhaps there is an intrinsic female acceptance of and even wish for foreign men swarming in while there's an intrinsic male opposition to it. So Angela Merkel and Hillary Clinton say "Come on in" to the swarming hordes of masculine immigrant men whereas Donald Trump and the average man in the street see nothing but a genocidal threat looming large.

Since democracy now includes women, political results have shifted dramatically over the last century to socialism, welfarism and open borders.

Something along those lines.

Lavrov, Putin and co are not grinning so much nowadays. We'll find out over the next decade or so what it all means in practice.

Meanwhile, real men have gone into the new realm of challenge which is Cyberspace, leaving the temporal world for women to run.

Tradable Citizenship is the way to go. Along with a reconstituted UN so the ridiculous Samantha Power can't have a petulant little tantrum. She is woman watch her roar - giggle.

Something along those lines. Gender is not neutral in politics.

hello c2,

we just enjoyed a productive as well as relaxing long weekend.

the occasion was the mid-autumn moon festival en.wikipedia.org

i worked my usual 4:00am start, but stopped at 10:00am as opposed to 2:00pm, and took the kids out to the wilds of hong kong, and then dined on pizza and such for movie nights (harry potter discs, and yes, i crash early at 8:00pm per usual).

the island (population perhaps 40 fishing / farming families) is 40 min from the pier in our neighbourhood, features trails and stone age scribblings and rural restaurants serving hearty meals. we got there at noon, walked for perhaps 90 minutes, ate leisurely lunch of steamed fish, deep fried squid, stir fried scallops, etc and i downed a rare beer, and left at 3:00pm, arriving home to shower, and did pizza movie night starting 6:00pm, to bed by 8:30pm after reading ellery queen for 10 minutes - love such days

here is jack, being good

here he is again, showing inkling of what he would soon enough be up to

... and then he does the inevitable for kids near water

even as the kids learn stuff

And you don't find Trump scary?

And you believe he will do what he says?

She's very, very scary.
