steve--

i am totally confused about your position. first, you say that deployment will not happen IF the RBOCs have to give access to CLECs. now that they have little to fear (the FCC can blow smoke all it wants), you are saying they wont deploy.

sounds like you think that there is nothing that is going to get DSL moving.

all this crap about the bells not deploying because they will loose T1 revenue is nonsense. this is a new market and the cannabilization of T1 revenues is inevitable. that being the case, the only way to make money on it is to make it mass market. that is exactly what they are going to do. AND, with the rumor that MSFT is going to put 1billion into TCI (which is, in reality, a drop in the well compared to what they need), i think the bells are going to accelerate while they have the window of oppotunity.

as for my losing faith, it has more to do with the promised contracts than the actual potential of DSL. i am very dissatisfied with management over their handling of the entire situation.

good luck to all,
trey
