Steve, thank you for your detailed reply.

I think it will be very helpful to the thread.

I never claimed to be expert on semiconductor
manufacturing. Having no expertise in testing
and other important semicondutor needs for this new
chip. I can't really reply. I can tell you this should
be an inhouse production. (Chips production can very difficult.
Check with Cirrus Logic CEO.)
At this point it is a guess.

The only thing I pointed out was process should be intregated
TI and INTC have one of the best track records and facilities of
any company or outsourcer. Perhaps some people from TI will
go to the far east and set up there in part. Don't know.

As for your market predications and earnings forecasts.
Thank you. I will keep them in mind.

Respectfully

Jerry

Steve
You were quoting Wall Street so much and my
favorite publication Barrons so much I thought
I'd give you these figures from the street.
TXN has 9 (Nine) strong buys, 4 (Four) regular
buys and 6 holds.

There are no sells out there. Zacks rates it 1.8
not bad at all with all the your clouds hanging
over it. My broker H&Q just changed it to a hold
from a buy. (Thats Chaplinsky of INTC.) Included
in consencusz. In his previous write ups he speaks
very highly of the company and its technology. The
korea sit. and announcement of temp short fall in
earnings changed his ratings.

Good Luck and my very best wishes.

Jerry
