Heyward, I knows the chart pattern of GW. Is it not enough? <gg> Honestly, I don't understand the fundamentals of GW compared to other land drillers as well as others. There is a GW thread on SI I think. GW has relatively higher PE for next year but it has good growth rate as well. Many expect gangbuster earnings for GW next year, but so could one say about UTI and PTEN. The question I'm not able to answer is where are they focus their drillings in, e.g. N,E,W,S of Texas? The prevailing dayrate and rate of increase of dayrate is not the same for all land rigs. The locality matters. Maybe Mike can help. GW is swarmed with traders and its low price put it on the high beta status.
Are you thinking about buying a stock in each oil services niches? GLM in shallow water, NE in deeper water, GW in land, FGII in construction?

Today's action is so lackluster I think it is one of the most boring day I can ever recall. It's like you sell to me and I sell it back to you, like the bald guy who advertised for Ameritrade: "I traded my Fiat for a BMW, and the BMW for Fiat, all before lunch".
