All, today may be the last day to place your bets 'cause Monday is when the games begin! 2 things I have noticed today:
1). Long bond continues to drop and broke 5.85%
2). The number of preannouncements this quarter seems to be less than in previous quarters, with database software cos. (oracle, sybase) being the exception.

Intel appears to be in good shape to break 80 if they meet estimates.

good luck,
joey

Jim, I believe I read somewhere that it's an NEC chip, and the cost is between $20.00-$45.00.

I forget where I read it though, so it could be wrong.

Jimmy OLD boy,
Re -- On the serious side and if you can answer without insult. What chip do they use in a Nintendo and a Sony Playstation and how much do they cost?

If you were serious, you wouldn't have asked that question since you already know the answer being a sleezball and all.

The point of your question Jimmy OLD chap, is that these are single function devices I'd like to see the playstation run Quicken.

Jim, re: "On the serious side and if you can answer without insult. What chip do they use in a Nintendo and
a Sony Playstation and how much do they cost?"

I don't know where this question came from, or if you still have interest, but I have part answers...The Sony Playstation has an LSI Logic chip which functions as the controller. It also has a Toshiba graphics chip. I don't know what's inside the Nintendo.
