Donald gives really good rally presence. Hillary does not. People love a show, with emotion, reference to what's going on in the rally - those really bad media people lined up, look, they don't show the crowd, look at that protestor = get him out of here, they deserve a thumping. What are we going to build = "A great big beautiful wall". Who is going to pay? "Mexico". "USA! USA!! USA!!!" What about Crooked Hillary [tm]? "Lock her up".

Hillary likes to operate from her reasoning brain [false though it is, replete with lies to boot]. Donald goes for the limbic system, amygdala and those juicy parts which suit rally noise and chimpoid tribal identity. Lots of people go for that stuff which is why top boxing matches, footie games, cricket matches and on and on get hordes of foaming at the mouth supporters ready to attack the supporters of other teams - in soccer anyway.

So the polls do not reflect relative rallies. Then, the actual vote doesn't reflect either rallies or polls. In the peace and quiet of a polling booth, with power literally at hand, people make their choice without having to justify themselves to anybody and they can lie when the leave about who they voted for.

I give my wife careful instructions on how to vote and have done for decades, but I suspect that without my considerate guidance, she decides for herself who to vote for. People seem to be like that. They just do any damn thing they please when they have total power to decide what to do without answering to anybody else who might give them grief. That's why secret ballots are so popular. A show of hands [especially around Saddam's governing table] can lead to a sudden bullet flying across the room if a hand goes up at the wrong time.

It was interesting to see at Saddam's governing table that the participants would all sit up straight and all had both hands up on the table. Same thing in China - backs all ramrod straight and totally compliant. Even more so in North Korea with only the biggest boss of all exhibiting relaxation, looking around at everyone, swaggering and ensuring no deviance.

It looks like a Trump victory, when push comes to shove. The uninvited kissing [a few instances] is insignificant in the grand scheme of things and as he said, "if they let you". As he interestingly said "Those deeply deeply disturbed women are the best in bed." There's an article by Deborah Hill Cone in the Herald today about just that nzherald.co.nz - the response of women to alpha males like Donald and how disturbed women with father figure issues are gagging for it. He tried it on, but when rejected, accepted that. Bill Clinton was more forceful but generally in the same vein I guess.

Most people with an even slightly worldly view know that tall, handsome, rich alpha males with swagger and all that stuff know that women go for it. It's obvious evolutionary sense in tournament mating which is what humans do. Sexual dimorphism is a good guide to that tournament mating process and humans have a lot of sexual dimorphism.

It's not in the slightest surprising that a super alpha male like Donald is like that.

I don't remember such a disparity of rally attendance leading up to an election as this one has

Yes - that's the elephant in the room. The only thing it may vaguely correlate with is turnout.
Just did a back of the napkin calculation. Republican turnout was 63.45% for Romney.
If it goes up by even 5-6 % (not inconceivable) it will be a landslide in terms of popular vote
