Gov running any business has been proven to fail. You cannot give a single example of one that is economically successful. Socialism has failed every time and your bullchit democratic socialism equates to the gov running all means of production. You are a failure and wish to project your failures into a dream world that will never work.

" A society making sure those that live in the spring of life, those that live in the winter of life, and those that live in the shadows of life, are tended to and well taken care of." The first word I think of is "naive." But after that, it occurs to me that only a person who is unfamiliar with animal nature would believe this place exists. It is child-like, and in fact, my son as an 8 year old could have easily seen that this was a silly notion, and he would have accurately diagnosed the problem as an incentive trap. It is just not something that thoughtful people would envisage.

"Democratic socialism:" You realize the United States is a constitutional republic? Do you know what that is? Why am I asking, of course you don't. A Constitutional Republic is a state where the officials are elected as representatives of the people, and must govern according to existing constitutional law that limits the government's power over citizens. A Constitutional Republic is the current form of government in the United States.
