I am not clear on what the price basis is for the guests picks, I presume it is market open 1/2/98. The picks are determined before air time, in fact they are probably submitted to Lou well in advance of the show. (Has anyone seen the "official" rules for wall street week?) Anyway, Laszlo picked AAPL as one of the stocks in his portfolio. My take on the comments about the three point rise is that not only did he put in the best performance last year with his picks, but here he goes again with hot picks on day one. BTW, some of the energy in today's rise could be frontrunning of the show.
