Libertarians are sort of like those who wish they lived in medieval times. They all imagine they would be at the top of the social order in those systems. The reality is they would be slaves. Either formally or in all but name. There are libertarian countries, though. At least in practice. Look at Somalia. Very weak government. No taxes collected in most of the country. In practice, no laws and no regulations. And look! Paradise! Of course, none of our brave libertarians would live there. They seem to think that we could retain all of the good things in this country and eliminate all of the things that make those good things possible.
