God forbid we should return to Clinton era economic growth and budget surpluses, Well yeah. People weren't afraid enough during the 1990s. Workers got used to getting raises and employers had to compete for employees. It was living hell. It tore at the moral fabric of the nation. If most people don't live in fear, day by day, what good is it to be wealthy and secure in your life? It is against the natural order of things. Thank God Dubya got elected and put an end to that nonsense...
