I understand, and applaud you for trying to convince someone to consider other alternatives when they're certain of their positions. I don't have the interest, the patience or the energy. I hope you succeed with several and they in turn convince others.

I agree with you. People can learn. A lot of times there is a delayed reaction, but many people will not forget a foreign or contrary idea given to them by someone they like or respect.

They will chew on it. It may be that most learning may be at the unconscious level.

But someone has to shine a light, no matter how dark.

Better to light one candle than curse the dark-lol.
