Details about Photonics : Photonics (the "Company" or
"PHTX") incorporated in 1985, designs, develops, and
markets wireless network products which offer unique and
cost-effective connectivity solutions based on diffuse
infrared technology. The Companys products create instant
wireless local area networks (WLANs) among portable and
desktop computer users, and seamlessly connects them
with existing wired local area networks (LANs) enhancing
and extending wired networks for mobile computer users.
Photonics' products are a foundation for wireless access to
the data and resources of a facility's wired network,
including shared disks, databases, printers, and modems, all
possible while users remain mobile throughout their facility.
Creating a fully functioning network, Photonics products
support peer-to-peer groupware applications such as shared

sharing, and group calendaring in any ad hoc situation. The
strength of PHTX is its diffuse infrared technology which is
a breakthrough approach to wireless local area networking
